The HOFOWEM team visited some of the beneficiaries of the Hope for Youth Entrepreneurship Training held on 13th and 14th of August, 2017 to commemorate the 2017 International Youth Day, where over 65 youths were trained in various agricultural areas and baking technology.
The training had two phases that included a two-day theoretical session and another four-day field trip where the participants had the chance to have the practical experience of what they learnt during their classes.
In only a few weeks after the training, some of the participants have started to utilize the knowledge acquired during the training by setting up their individual businesses relevant to the training. This is a wakeup call for other participants who are yet to implement what they learnt during the training as required.
We congratulate the new entrepreneurs especially those in the agricultural sector for making us proud and we will ensure that all the necessary support needed is provided to enable them achieve their dreams.
